Description: Following from the Charity Screening of Ukrainian Films in August, in partnership with ReUse Bauhaus, this proposal is to develop and present a second series of short films by filmmakers from Ukraine over two nights.
Actual Outcomes: A two-night short film festival was held in the Mehrzweckhalle (Multi-function Space) of Flutgraben. The first night presented films on the subject of “War”, the second night showed films on the subject of “Everything else”. In total, 28 films were presented from young and emerging filmmakers from Ukraine, all of whom are producing film work in difficult circumstances for filmmaking (without power, sometimes in conflict zones, managing trauma etc).
