A Performance Collective with the “X” Factor
YEBBA is a performance collective was initially founded in 2023 by three younger artists in the Slovenian scene (Alja Lacković, Manca Trampuš, Petra Peček). In 2025 the collective was reestablished with new constellation – Lacković, Trampuš and Kaja Janjić. The collective visted Berlin for 2 weeks in November 2025 to develop their work “LP” into an English translation with support of Cultural Workers Studio.
A music album in live performance
- The project “LP” (Lep Pozdrav / Long Play / Live Performance) conceptually follows the form of a music album, which is created and performed live through dance and music. Producing music through the body, voice, repetition, rhythm, melodies, instruments, objects, and space. Dance music in the literal sense of the term.
Research, collaboration, performance
- Yebba’s two weeks included text devising inside the Studio, movement research in the dance studio Public in Private, and final performance realisations.
